Clean Mobile Power Initiative | Climate Week NYC Working Session
Clean mobile power technologies have advanced significantly, but market adoption has not kept pace. Across industries, organizations continue to rely on diesel generators for temporary power, while challenges including equipment availability, cost, reliability, training, and deployment complexity continue to limit broader adoption of cleaner alternatives.
Join Third Derivative, RMI's global climate tech accelerator, with support from Netflix and The Walt Disney Company, for a small, invitation-only working session during Climate Week NYC focused on what it will take to accelerate the market for clean mobile power.
The session will bring together corporate leaders and practitioners from sectors including entertainment, construction, live events and sports, data centers, utilities and infrastructure, and other large users of temporary power. Participants will share real-world experiences, learn from peers facing similar challenges, and explore how greater coordination across industries can strengthen demand, reduce market barriers, and accelerate investment in clean mobile power.
Participants will also have an opportunity to help inform the next phase of the Clean Mobile Power Initiative, including the market, procurement, and operational approaches needed to support deployment at scale.
Continental breakfast, tea and coffee will be provided.
