Peer-learning session: media engagement in Global Majority contexts
Save the date: This peer-learning session will focus on media engagement in global majority contexts. It will be an opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and connect with others working on similar challenges and opportunities.
The conversation will be shaped by what participants want to explore. To spark discussion, we’ll be joined by members of the New Protagonist Network (and leaders in the tech politics space!) who will share reflections from their own regional media experiences :
Tarunima Prabhakar, cofounder of Tattle Civic Technologies
James Oyange (Mojez), Organizer for African Content Moderators and co-researcher at Data Workers' Inquiry
Hajira Maryam, Lead Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Strategic Communications at Amnesty International's Algorithmic Accountability Lab
Please note: The session will not be recorded.
