Single Shield Prize Concept Stage Proposers' Day

The Single Shield Prize Concept Stage Proposers’ Day will convene vaccine developers and researchers, biotech companies, and other innovators seeking to advance single-administration vaccine platforms for pandemic influenza A(H5N1).
Hear about the vision for the prize, Concept Stage details, and what the prize team is looking for in potential solutions. Attendees will also have the chance to meet prospective partners working across vaccine development.
The program will include keynote remarks from the prize team, spotlight presentations from prospective prize entrants, and networking.
Attendance is free, but space is limited. Individuals interested in attending may register through this page. Registration will be approved based on available capacity.

Spotlight presentations
Prospective prize entrants may be invited to give a brief, live spotlight presentation during Proposers’ Day. These presentations will give selected entrants a chance to present their organization, potential solution, and partnership needs.
Presentation slots are limited, and participation will be determined by attendee interest and the final event format. The prize team will contact interested registrants with an update prior to the event.
The deadline to indicate interest in giving a spotlight presentation is September 16, 2026.
Please note that being selected to give a spotlight presentation does not indicate Single Shield Prize endorsement, support, or preference, and will have no bearing on prize evaluation.

The Single Shield Prize is an $80+ million competition to advance single-administration vaccine platforms for pandemic influenza A(H5N1). The prize calls for innovative solutions enabling the development of vaccines that could provide protection in only one visit.
Eligible vaccine developers and researchers, biotech companies, and other innovators can compete for more than $80 million in awards while gaining access to technical support and opportunities to connect with collaborators, industry partners, and potential investors.
