​Reiki Level I is an invitation to discover the power of energy, your hands, and your own capacity to bring yourself back into balance.

​This foundational training is designed for anyone curious about energy healing whether you simply want to learn Reiki as a practice for yourself or feel called to begin a path that may eventually lead to deeper levels of Reiki training and working with others.

​Throughout the experience, you’ll learn about life-force energy, energetic awareness, self-regulation, and how to begin practicing Reiki through your hands. We’ll explore the history and origins of Reiki, including the teachings and journey of Mikao Usui, and introduce the foundational principles that have shaped this healing practice.

​A central part of the day will be your Reiki Level I attunement with Reiki Master Teacher Luz Duque, an energetic initiation traditionally used to open and deepen your connection to Reiki.

​You’ll learn how to practice self-Reiki, become more aware of your own energetic body, and begin developing a personal relationship with energy that you can continue cultivating long after the class.

​Please note: Reiki symbols are not taught in Level I. This training focuses on the foundations, self-practice, energetic awareness, and attunement before advancing into later levels.

​✧ No previous Reiki or energy-healing experience is required.
✧ Please come dressed in comfortable, light-colored clothing.
✧ We will break for a group lunch at The Greenhouse Restaurant at The Garden Hotel. Meals are not included in the class tuition.
