United We Win: A fundraising party supporting the movement to save and transform Bay Area transit
Join us in Bernal Heights on August 1st from 3:00-5:00pm to support the people-powered movement working to pass the Bay Area regional transit measure! It's official -- on this November's ballot, voters in five counties will get the chance to vote on the Connect Bay Area regional transit funding measure to prevent devastating cuts to BART, Muni, Caltrain, AC Transit, and other systems across the Bay Area.
Seamless Bay Area & Transbay Coalition are co-leading grassroots efforts to pass this historic ballot measure, having recently galvanized over 1,000 volunteers and collecting over 77,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot this spring.
Now, we're are preparing for the next phase of the campaign to win in November – and need your help. Come out for an afternoon fundraising party at BareBottle Brewing's outdoor patio while helping Seamless Bay Area and Transbay Coalition with the resources needed sustain and scale up their organizing! Funding supports training up more volunteers, presenting to hundreds of organizations, reaching more people through social media, and more.
The event will be at Barebottle Brewing in Bernal Heights, which is family friendly with food and beverages available for purchase, including non-alcoholic options.
