Bring One Thing, Automate It With Claude — A Live Hands-On Hour
About the event
AI tools have changed how work gets done — but most people are still using Claude like a smarter search bar. What does it look like to actually get leverage from it?
This interactive session brings together professionals, builders, and the AI-curious to learn how to use Claude effectively in real work. This is not a product pitch or a passive demo — it is a hands-on, task-driven hour focused on automating something you actually do.
Show and Share
The session opens with a live walkthrough of the different ways to use Claude — conversational chat, projects, and Claude Code — and where each one earns its keep in real workflows.
Learn by Doing
Participants will then work on their own task, with guidance, to explore:
How to break a real task into a prompt Claude can act on
When to use chat vs. projects vs. agentic modes
Prompting habits that separate "neat trick" from "saves me three hours a week"
Where Claude falls short and how to design around its limits
Each participant brings one task from their real work — a recurring email, a messy spreadsheet, a research summary, a meeting prep ritual, anything you'd rather not do again — and automates it live with us in the room.
The session will conclude with a brief recap of patterns that worked across the group, followed by open networking for those who want to continue the conversation.
What to bring: A laptop and one task you do every week that you wish you didn't.
