​You grow faster when you're not building alone.

​Once a season, Aureum sets one long table at a restaurant worth the evening. This October it's one of Amsterdam's newest high-end addresses: a chef's menu, a room designed down to the glassware, and around thirty founders, entrepreneurs and professionals, women and men, who'd rather have one honest conversation than ten transactional ones.

​Here's how the evening works: 18:30 – Welcome drink at the bar 19:00 – Seated. Places are arranged so you sit with people from other industries, not your own 19:15 – One round of introductions at your part of the table: who you are, what you're building, and what you're figuring out right now 19:30 – Dinner. [Three] courses from the chef's menu, paired drinks, and the conversations you came for 21:30 – Places rotate for dessert, so you meet the other half of the table 22:00 – Last glasses

​By dessert you'll know who at the table has hired in the market you're entering, who's raised, who's sold, and who's simply good company. Most people leave with two or three names they'll email the next morning.
