The Portrait Social is a quarterly gathering for Toronto professionals. You'll step into a real studio, sit for a guided portrait session with us, and walk away with headshots you'll be proud to use. In between, enjoy curated food, music and conversations with driven, like-minded people.
No awkward posing. No rushing. Just a calm, fun night where you get to look and feel like yourself.

The evening
6:00 PM: Doors open, welcome drinks
6:15 PM: Portrait sessions begin (we'll call you in by name)
All evening: Food, music and networking
9:00 PM: Goodnight
Who it's for
Professionals, founders, job seekers, creatives and team leads. Anyone who's been meaning to update their headshot and would rather do it somewhere beautiful, with good people.
What to wear
Solid, rich colours photograph best. Skip busy patterns and big logos. Bring a second top or jacket if you can't decide. The full guide arrives in your inbox once you're confirmed.
Good to know
Only 30 spots, so every guest gets proper time in front of the camera.
Registration is by approval. Once you're confirmed, you'll receive the venue address and your arrival details.

Expensing it? Many companies cover headshots as professional development. A receipt is provided for reimbursement.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you're welcome to transfer yours to a colleague. Just let us know by [date].

Your host
I'm Lucky Osunbiyi, a Toronto portrait photographer and six-time internationally published photographer. I've photographed teams at BMO, Black Founders Network and BlackNorth Initiative, and worked with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. I love helping people who "hate having their photo taken" leave with a portrait they genuinely love.
