Audiotrain Pitch to Pilot Networking Event | “What Makes a Great Podcast Pitch?”
Audiotrain, Bespoken Media and the Scottish Podcast Awards launch a new competition helping Scottish creators develop podcast ideas and turn them into pilots, with a development and production package worth more than £3,000. Pitch to Pilot will help emerging talent develop their ideas, connect with industry experts and turn a winning concept into a professionally produced podcast pilot.
The programme launches with an event on Tuesday 3rd November at Berlinkys in Glasgow, bringing together Scotland’s podcast and audio community for a discussion on “What Makes a Great Podcast Pitch?” hosted by Nicola Meighan.
The event will feature founder of Bespoken, Dave Howard, Mark Hunter, Scottish Podcast veteran of 20 years and co-founder of the Podcast Studio Glasgow, and Dr Pamela Jenkins, host of My Family, Mental Illness and Me, who will share their experience and insight into what can make a podcast pitch stand out.
The discussion will be followed by drinks and networking, giving creators the opportunity to meet other podcasters and connect with Scotland’s wider audio and creative community.
