How will this event be structured?
This is a virtual event that will take place on Zoom. The schedule will include specific milestone touch points as well as learning and discussion sessions throughout the weekend. Attendees will have the ability to stay on Zoom for the whole event with event hosts and facilitators!
What do I need to participate? Do I need a Replit subscription?
You just need a computer with internet access. No coding experience is required, but a basic understanding of digital marketing, AI tools, and automations will be helpful.
We also recommend purchasing the paid version of Replit, specifically Replit Core, which is $15 per month billed annually. We hope to secure a discount code from the Replit team! Check out Replit here: https://replit.com/
What if I don't have an app idea yet?
No problem! We'll be sending out some prompts in advance to help you think of your app idea. We'll also spend some time at the start of the event finalizing our ideas and giving each other feedback.
Are spots limited?
Yes. We want to ensure that we can provide each attendee support they need to get to their first app iteration by the end of the event. Make sure to secure your spot!
What should I do if the event is sold out?
We recommend joining the waitlist in case a spot opens up.l We also plan to do more events in the future, so keep an eye out for updates.
Will there be support if I get stuck?
Absolutely! We have a team of mentors available throughout the event to answer questions, help troubleshoot, and provide guidance.
Are we only using Replit? What about other tools like Bubble and Cursor?
To make building a fully functional web app in one weekend as simple as possible and offer as much support as possible, we decided to focus the building process around one tool that has been the easiest for us to use.
We will have time to discuss the pros and cons of other tools that provide AI-assisted code generation including Bubble and Cursor.
Is there an educational component to this event?
Yes! Both Meg and Callie will be curating educational resources before the event to make sure you have what you need to get started.
How will attendees be able to stay connected and build community with each other?
Meg runs a Skool community called AI App Launchpad. This is a completely free community that you can join in advance to connect with other likeminded folks and event attendees. We'll be able to chat with each other here throughout the event and stay connected afterwards.
