Lunch Fellowship: Meaning and Purpose at Work
Many of us want our work to mean something. Yet purpose can become difficult to name, and the search for meaningful work can create its own pressure. Even worthwhile work contains routine, frustration and seasons when its value is hard to see.
What makes our work worth doing? How much meaning should we expect work to carry? And how can purpose guide us without becoming another measure of achievement?
Lunch Fellowship is a small gathering for business owners and working professionals who are building or leading something meaningful.
We’ll begin with an hour over lunch, with time to get to know one another and talk about what gives our work meaning. After lunch, we’ll move to a nearby venue for a one-hour facilitated group coaching session.
Together, we’ll explore the people, commitments and values that make our work matter, while making room for uncertainty and ordinary work. The hope is that each person leaves with a clearer sense of what they want their work to serve and one practical way to honour that purpose.
This is a confidential space, not a networking event or sales pitch. You don’t need a perfectly formed purpose statement. Come ready to share honestly, listen well and learn alongside others.
