Bringing both Roche pharmaceutical and diagnostics divisions together from all sites in Switzerland including Basel/Kaiseraugst, Rotkreuz, and Zurich. This day entails a deep dive into Roche’s global impact and career opportunities with insider tips for your application, followed by expert-led breakouts to sharpen your industry edge. It is the perfect chance to build your professional network with experts from Roche.
This event is a collaboration between eight student associations across ETH and UZH in the field of life sciences. It is more than just a career chat; it’s a chance to meet people who are just as passionate about starting their career in healthcare as you are.

SPEAKER SESSION 1 (10:20 - 11:00)
Catherine - Discovery Scientist Neurotechnologies (Basel): With a background in genetic engineering and neuroscience, Catherine focuses on developing innovative gene therapies to treat devastating nervous system diseases within Roche’s collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Christophe - Clinical Pharmacologist (Basel): With 19 years of experience, Christophe studies exactly how the human body processes and reacts to new drugs to ensure they are both safe and effective.
Vincent - Global Medical Science Group Leader (Basel): A key leader in Medical Affairs for lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers. With 13 years of experience at Roche, he is the go-to expert for questions on leadership and global medical strategies.
SPEAKER SESSION 2 (11:20 - 12:00)
Ramona - Research Program Manager (Zurich): Expert in oncology and cancer immunotherapy with 6 years of experience managing complex scientific networks and portfolios.
Lara - Scientist PCR Assay Development (Rotkreuz): She specializes in creating advanced diagnostic tests, like PCR, that allow doctors to detect diseases with incredible speed and accuracy.
Judith - Chapter Lead Drug Substance Manufacturing (Basel): She oversees the teams responsible for drug substance manufacturing, making sure that life-saving medicines are produced with the highest quality and technical precision.
