Squiggly Doors #2: How do you find work that fits you?
For the second round of Squiggly Doors, I'd love to talk about what we look for in a job, and how we find a role that fits us.
This edition is themed about how to find work for you. We'll be looking at how you identify your strengths and what you're passionate about, and the journey you took to get there.
11:00 - 11:15: Introduction
11.15 - 11.45 am: Discussion
11:45 - 12:00: Any lingering topics.
I wanted to set up this little space IRL to support peers in looking for roles right now. This is open to anyone who is currently on the job hunt, looking in any industry. I'm keeping it small and intimate for it to be a safe space, and you just need to grab your own drink :) This isn't a resource guide or a how-to on improving your resume, but I'd love it to be a shared space in supporting each other.
My only ask!
Take space, share space: be mindful of others. I appreciate everyone's experiences, and we want to leave room for others to share.
About me: Here's the professional stuff, but other things to know about me 1) I really like bread 2) I love doing pilates (mat especially) I'm thinking about doing a cert to teach! 3) I watch one episode a day of Monk and I'm currently on season 3.
