2nd Edition: Mombasa Youth Dialogue on Maritime and Shipping Affairs 2024.

​Blue Radio Kenya proudly announces the second edition of the Mombasa Youth Dialogue on Maritime Affairs, Shipping, and Blue Economy 2024, scheduled for September 24, 2024. This premier platform for youth empowerment and dialogue is dedicated to fostering sustainable practices, highlighting career opportunities, and presenting innovative solutions across diverse sectors of the blue economy. This event is a collaborative effort by Blue Radio Kenya, exploring partnerships with the State Department of Maritime and Shipping Affairs and the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA). Attendees, including maritime students and professionals, can look forward to dynamic panel discussions, enlightening fireside chats with Hon. Geoffrey Kaituko, and interactive engagements with key stakeholders. The central themes will explore the impact of climate change on maritime activities, expansive career opportunities within offshore and onshore jobs, and the exploration of government policies. We are excited to announce our Chief Guest, Principal Secretary Hon. Geoffrey Kaituko from the State Department for Shipping & Maritime Affairs, alongside other high-profile guests including the Director General of KMA, Eng. Martin Dzombo Munga, Chairman of the Board of Directors at KMA, Mr. Hamisi Mwaguya, and Dr. Eric Lewa Katana, CEO of Bandari Maritime Academy.
