Engine maintenance workshop

​How should you be looking after your engine? What regular maintenance is essential, what regular checks should you do? Come and learn the basics in a friendly and practical setting!

​After this workshop you probably still can't fix every problem, but you might have a better idea of how to diagnose them - and crucially how to prevent problems by looking after your engine.

​This workshop will take place on a boat with a BMC 1.5 engine, which a common type and similar to most engines - so do come even if you don't have that same type! Exact location will be sent to those registered closer to time, but it will be in Hackney.

​The workshop is run by Reza, who is a boat mechanic with years of experience and trusted by boaters up and down the Lea.
