Women's Luncheon: September 2026

​Dr. Garima Nagar is a scientist, innovator, and passionate advocate for women in STEM whose work and life reflect the power of curiosity, resilience, and representation. With a PhD in Physics and a role as a Scientist at Corning Inc., she contributes to the development of products that are helping turn AI from possibility into reality. Her work stands at the intersection of science and innovation, shaping technologies that are transforming the way we live and connect.

​Equally important to her is the mission of advancing gender diversity in STEM research. Garima believes that science thrives when diverse voices are welcomed, supported, and empowered to lead. She is passionate about creating a future where more women see themselves not only participating in science, but shaping it.

​Beyond her professional achievements, Garima is also the proud mother of a beautiful 18-month-old daughter, whom she hopes to raise with curiosity, confidence, and a strong scientific temperament. For her, inspiring the next generation begins at home. She also finds joy in dancing, traveling, and playing tennis, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to life that she brings to her work.
