​Some of the best conversations you’ve ever had happened by accident; maybe with a stranger, late at night, somewhere you didn’t expect.

​This is that, but on purpose.

​The Gist Session is an intimate evening hosted by gist | THE GAME, the conversation card game built for the questions people actually want to ask but rarely do. We’re taking over Solt Room in Hackney for one night, and we’re inviting a small group of people to come and actually talk to each other.

​Here’s what the evening looks like:

​— Arrive, settle in, meet the people around you — Play the game in small groups (no experience needed — the cards do the heavy lifting) — Come back together for a group conversation around one question worth sitting with — Leave with something you didn’t walk in with

​No panels. No networking. No small talk that goes nowhere. Just a room full of people who showed up for the same reason — to connect with something real.

​Decks will be available to take home on the night, and there’ll be drinks to keep the evening flowing.

​Capacity is intentionally small. This isn’t a big event — it’s a room, a game, and a few hours that might surprise you.
