Q2 Product Innovation Forum Breakfast
Benefits communication at global scale: Thinking like a marketer
Organisations invest heavily in employee benefits. Yet many employees still have only a partial understanding of what is available to them, when it matters, and how it applies to their own circumstances.
The issue is rarely the benefits themselves. More often, it is how they are communicated.
In many organisations, benefits communication still relies on broad, one-size-fits-all messaging. The same message goes to the entire workforce regardless of role, location, or life stage. New parents receive retirement content. Factory teams are expected to engage through email channels they rarely use. Messages arrive at arbitrary moments rather than when decisions are actually being made.
The result is predictable: Low awareness, uneven engagement, and significant under-utilisation of programmes that organisations invest millions to provide.
Marketing solved this problem years ago. Modern marketing functions no longer broadcast generic campaigns to everyone at once. They segment audiences, align messages with moments of relevance, and use multiple channels to reach people where they actually are.
Benefits communication has yet to make that shift. At this Product Innovation Forum breakfast, we will explore what it would mean to approach benefits communication with the discipline of modern marketing.
Moving beyond one-size-fits-all announcements
Targeting and segmentation across global workforces
Aligning communications with real employee moments
Reaching non-desk employees, not just inboxes
Measuring impact beyond email open rates
As with all Product Innovation Forums, the aim is to examine a practical industry problem with peers facing similar operational realities.

Who this event is for
Ben's Product Innovation Forum is designed for Reward, Benefits, HR and People Operations leaders at large, complex organisations - typically 1,000+ employees, often operating across multiple countries or regions.
We keep this group intentionally small and practitioner-focused. It's built for the people who actually manage benefits programmes day-to-day. If you're responsible for how benefits are managed, communicated, or measured at scale - this is for you.
Spaces are limited. Registrations are reviewed and approved manually. We'll be in touch within a few days of your request.
