Navigating the job market & finding your strengths | Session 2
Ever wondered how people actually land their first job in finance? Maybe you’ve heard of internships, vacation programs and graduate programs, but you’re not sure what the difference is, when to apply, or what to do if you don’t have much work experience yet.
We get it, it can feel confusing. In this interactive session, we’ll break down how getting into finance really works, where to find opportunities, and how to make the most of what you already bring to the table.

🧭 Know your options: Understand the difference between internships, vacation programs and graduate programs, and which ones could be right for you.
📅 Get your timing right: Find out when people usually start applying for each opportunity, and why some applications open way earlier than you might think.
🔎 Know where to look: Discover where finance opportunities are advertised and how to stay ahead of upcoming applications.
💪 Recognise your strengths: Learn how to showcase your skills, experiences and potential, even if you haven’t had a formal job yet.

Who’s delivering this workshop?
