The Africa AI Village at the G20 is a landmark showcase of Africa’s growing leadership in artificial intelligence, from policy to practice. Anchored in South Africa’s G20 Presidency, the Village will convene governments, innovators, researchers, and funders to shape a shared AI future grounded in equity, sovereignty, and collaboration across the Global South.
The program features high-level dialogues, innovation showcases, and policy labs on AI talent, data governance, and South–South cooperation , highlighting how Africa is moving from AI consumer to co-creator on the global stage.
