In the heart of Mumbai thrives a biodiversity abundant, 33-acre forest reserve, the BNHS CEC, right next to the Film City! It serves as a habitat for Mumbai’s leopards and in monsoons, the diversity of its bubbling biodiversity expands multifold, with a surprise emergence of mini waterfalls all around.
We're taking you there for a beginner-friendly hike led by a Biologist who will make you see the invisible! With her exhilarating stories, nature's secrets & fun games, our expert naturalist will make you see the forest through a whole new lens. You'll pause to notice & learn about the tiniest creatures doing their jobs - from insects, fascinating spiders, birds & mammals to diverse fungi, forest herbs & trees. And the biggest of all - you'll learn all about their interdependence and our heavy dependence on this ecosystem in the middle of the city.
Make the last Sunday of August count by skipping the concrete jungle for the natural one. Get awed by nature.
This hike is kids-friendly.
