​The 2026 East Wave Festival is the most anticipated ocean event of the summer in Taitung, scheduled to take place on May 16th and 17th, 2026, at Shanyuan Bay. Combining live music and local markets, it offers a perfect opportunity to soak in the passion and healing energy of the East Coast.

​The festival is held at Shanyuan Bay, a stunning location known for its fine sand and crystal-clear waters. In recent years, the East Wave Festival has successfully transformed this area into a premier hub for water sports and cultural performances, providing visitors with a diverse leisure experience across land, sea, and air.

​🎸 Live Music Performances

​The festival maintains its reputation for high-quality music, featuring a lineup of award-winning artists and popular bands. The performances run for two consecutive days, filling the air with vibrant energy from the afternoon late into the night.

• ​A Visual Feast: Daily Large-scale Kite Displays (13:00 – 17:00), featuring colorful kites that dance against the backdrop of Shanyuan Bay’s blue sky.
