​KiDS NEED MoRE’s Sweet Squad is looking for volunteers to help represent our organization at the 2026 Long Island Family Festival at Tanner Park in Copiague!

​

​This is NOT a KiDS NEED MoRE event — we will be attending as community partners and are looking for upbeat, friendly volunteers to help us connect with families, share information about our programs, spread kindness, and help create a warm community presence throughout the weekend.

​

​The Long Island Family Festival is one of the South Shore’s biggest family events featuring carnival rides, live music, food vendors, a pet expo, car show, and thousands of community members throughout the weekend.

​

​Sweet Squad volunteers may help with:
• Greeting families
• Sharing KiDS NEED MoRE information
• Community outreach
• Helping at our table/setup
• Creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere
• Supporting awareness for children and families coping with illness and trauma

​

• Teens needing community service
• Friendly volunteers who enjoy community events
• Supporters who love outreach and connection
• People who want to represent KiDS NEED MoRE in the community
