Embodied Connection
Movement • Self-Exploration • Community
Embodied Connection is an intentional gathering to slow down, reconnect with your body, and cultivate connection with yourself and others through mindful movement, reflection, and shared experience.
Together, we'll explore what it means to move with curiosity rather than expectation, listen to the wisdom of our bodies, and create space for whatever arises.
No movement or yoga experience is necessary. All bodies and experience levels are welcome, and you're always encouraged to move in ways that feel supportive to you.
About the Experience
We'll begin by arriving together, grounding ourselves, and exploring an intention for our time.
From there, we'll move through a guided, gentle, somatic-inspired movement practice that blends elements of yoga, breath awareness, and opportunities to pause and notice. Rather than focusing on how a movement looks, we'll pay attention to how it feels.
We'll close with time for reflection, optional journaling, and community connection.
This is a space to explore, not perform. You're welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for you.
What to Bring

About Your Facilitator
Hi, I'm Sam! I'm a yoga instructor (RYT-200), licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA), and someone who believes that our bodies have so much to teach us when we make space to listen.
My approach to movement is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and connection. I draw from yoga, somatic practices, and my understanding of the relationship between our bodies, emotions, and lived experiences.
I created Embodied Connection as an opportunity to gather outside of traditional wellness and therapeutic spaces, where we can explore movement, deepen our relationship with ourselves, and connect in community.
A gentle note: Embodied Connection is a community wellness gathering, not a therapy group or mental health treatment.
