Ar ôl cyflwyniad byr ar bob math o gymal, bydd y mynychwyr yn cael cyfle i ddod o hyd i’r cymal yn nogfennau llywodraethu eu helusennau eu hunain ac i ystyried a yw’r cymal penodol hwnnw’n parhau i fod yn addas i’r diben neu a ddylid ei ddiweddaru.

This workshop will give you the opportunity to review and better understand your charity’s governing document.
Course aims
Participants will be given the opportunity to better understand their governing documents, what it requires the trustees to do, and any limitations imposed by it.
Brief description
The trainers will discuss the different types of clauses which are typically found in charity governing documents. After a short presentation on each type of clause, attendees will be given the opportunity to find and consider the clause in their own charity’s governing document and consider whether that particular clause is still fit for purpose or whether it should be updated.
Learning objective - by the end of the course participants will have learned / be able to:
Have a better understanding of their charity’s governing document and any provisions which need to be reviewed or updated.
