If you have ever frozen at the high chair trying to answer that question, this one is for you.
In December we are handing the morning to Grace and Bailey from Rise Pediatric Speech Therapy in Urbandale. They are speech-language pathologists, which means feeding and swallowing specialists, and they spend their days with infants on breast and bottle feeding, tongue ties, and starting solids.
What readiness really looks like. Gagging versus choking. How to start and how to cut it. Where purees actually fit. And what to do when she turns her head away from everything.
