November Bay Area Power Electronics Meetup
Power and electrical engineers of Silicon Valley– gather, meet, and break bread with your peers and notable experts in your field in a community meetup and discussion series, sponsored by Frenetic.ai.
What's happening?
On Wednesday November 15th at 6pm, join us in Sunnyvale for a panel discussion and tech talk focused on Power Electronics. On stage you’ll hear from:
Ben John, Power Electronics Integration Engineer at Tesla Motors
Xu She, Director of Electrical Engineering at Lunar Energy
Chema Molina, Founder and CEO at Frenetic.ai
Agenda
The format of the speaking part is a panel discussion, and we have some real experts ready to talk. You’ll learn about custom versus off-the-shelf magnetics, high frequency planar magnetics (when to use and when to avoid), and more. Every registrant will also get the opportunity to submit a question for the panel, right when you register for your ticket. No question goes ignored: If we don’t get to answer your question live, we’ll follow up afterwards in an email with a response.
Vibe
Whether you’ve worked with power electronics before or you’re just curious about the field, join us live for a tasty meal and a beer (with plenty of coverage for veg/vegans and non-alcohol preferences.) Our goal is to engage with the power and electrical engineering community of the Bay Area LIVE, after years of watching and reading about each other only on screens. Come for the professional networking, hot food, cold drinks, and great conversation.
Why charge for tickets?
We’re charging a nominal fee to hold your seats, as space at the venue is limited, and to get accurate estimates for food and beverage orders. The tacos are cooked and served on site, and the beer will be cold— there's more than $15 worth of tasty there alone, not to mention the quality of the speakers and your networking opportunity.
Reserve your spot by purchasing a ticket today!
