About Event

Join us on a group visit to the Oakland Museum to see the Good Fire Exhibit! What does reimagining California’s relationship with fire look like beyond wildfires? Learn more about how Native practitioners have and continue to use fire to care for land. There will also be a special talk with Indigenous fire practitioners on this day. Hosted by South Bay Fire Friends, open to everyone.

  • 1-2pm: Arrive & attend Spotlight Sunday on Cultural Burn Practices and the Future of Fire (tickets must be purchased beforehand)

  • 2-3pm: Explore Good Fire exhibit (tickets are sold separately)

  • 3-3:30pm: Reflect on visit & learn ways to engage with Bay Area's good fire community at the OMCA garden
