ligare wednesdays: burning desire · love letter
wednesday, october 28 · 7:00 pm · week eleven of twelve
sales for batch 3 open on thursday, september 24.
Modern adult life is short on places where connection just happens. Ligare builds them: a hosted evening of real conversation and a great board game, at a table of strangers chosen to feel like your people.
This is something new for us: a weekly table. Twelve Wednesdays at Spaghetti Western TC Jester, twelve themes, three games in rotation. Come once and see what it is. Come twice and you'll start recognizing faces. Keep coming, and Wednesday quietly becomes the night you don't have to make plans for, because it already has them.
week eleven: burning desire
This week is for the dream you keep not saying out loud, the tab that's been open for months, the thing you'd chase if nobody were watching. Love Letter is a game of open pursuit, where every card played is a bid for the same prize, which makes it the perfect table for a conversation about wanting, risking, and what we'd reach for if we let ourselves.
Never played? Perfect. We teach every game at your table in five minutes, every week. You don't need to be a board game person. You need to show up curious.
how a wednesday runs
before you arrive — Take the Connection Profile once (ten minutes, ever, or wait and do a shorter version after you show up). We use it to seat you with people matched on personality, life stage, and how you connect. Before doors, you'll get everything you need to know about your night: your game, the rules, how to get ready, a pre-game playlist, and what to expect.
when you arrive (7:00) — A host greets you at the door, gets you a nametag, and you're welcomed to a room where everyone is there to connect. Grab a drink, and order whatever looks good; food and drinks are available from the Spaghetti Western menu.
your table (7:30) — You're paired with a table based on how you actually connect, not surface similarity. Light a candle, and a Spark Card opens the conversation — not an icebreaker, a real question worth answering. We teach the game in five minutes, then the evening unfolds: you play, talk, eat, and open more cards that let you explore the people at your table, and reconnect with something in yourself.
after — Blow out the candle, linger, keep talking. Most people stay longer than they planned. Tell us who you'd love to see again, and if it's mutual, we'll follow up. Next Wednesday, the table is set again.
first time? regular?
If this is your first Ligare night: it's designed around arriving solo. Most people come alone, but you're welcome to bring a friend. Everything is planned for you, and the only thing you have to do is show up. We'll send you a Connection Profile in advance to help us seat you intentionally, or you can take it when you arrive.
If you've been before: every week is a new theme, the games cycle, and no two Wednesdays run the same. Same email and phone when you register, so your matching keeps getting smarter.
tickets
Try a week, or buy the season pass: all twelve Wednesdays for $149, our best per-night price, and one decision that covers three months of "I should get out more."
Day of registrations and walk-ins are welcome, too, if you need to make a gametime decision.
Your ticket is your seat at the table. Food and drinks are separate.

If you've attended before or completed a Connection Profile, use the same email and phone number — it helps us match your data and personalize your night.
Registering multiple guests? Each person needs a unique email and phone number.
Tickets become non-refundable one day before the gathering — that's when table-building begins.
