Gather and Climb

​Our first Gather and Climb event of 2026! Meet up with your peers for a full guided day of rock climbing in Squamish. This event is free for all WCP Alumni members.

​We will meet in Squamish (location TBA) at 8am and climb until approximately 4pm. Afterwards please join us for eats and treats. $20pp will be provided to go towards food and drinks!

​You MUST fill out this FORM before July 23rd if you are signed up for this clinic.

​Waiver

​Please have a read through the attached waiver of liability. Please note you DO NOT need to print and sign this waiver ahead of time, we will have paper copies for you to sign on the day of the clinic. If you have any questions related to this waiver, please don't hesitate to ask.

​What to Bring

​Clothing & Essentials

• ​Weather-appropriate clothing (check the forecast), including a warm insulating layer

• ​Approach or running shoes

• ​Water, lunch, and snacks (enough for the full day)

• ​Large backpack (minimum 30L) to carry personal gear and food

​Climbing Gear (If you have it, otherwise we will provide it)

• ​Harness

• ​Helmet

• ​Climbing shoes

• ​Chalk bag

• ​Belay device

​Optional Items

• ​A small pad (or similar) to sit on

• ​Camera

• ​Sunscreen

• ​Sunglasses

• ​Hat

• ​Any additional climbing gear you’d like to bring

​Transportation

​Please let me know ahead of time if you need assistance with transportation to Squamish. We do not want transportation to be a barrier to accessing these clinics, so please reach out if you need assistance.

​I have created a WhatsApp group for this day in our Community WhatsApp group. Please use this for planning for the event, carpooling, and you can use it for day of communication as well. Please find the link HERE.

​Waitlist

​If this clinic is full, please sign up for the waitlist. You will be alerted if someone cancels and a spot opens up for you. If you can no longer make it to this clinic please cancel AT LEAST 24 HOURS in advance. We completely understand if plans change or you are sick, but please give advance notice so that another deserving member can fill your spot. :)
