Growing Talent. Growing Baltimore. A Community Conversation on Workforce & Opportunity - VIRTUAL
Join Us Virtually | 2nd Annual Community Conversation
The State of Hiring in Baltimore
Baltimore has talent. The question is: How do we keep it here?
If you can't join us in person, we invite you to be part of the conversation from anywhere.
Per Scholas Baltimore is proud to host our 2nd Annual Community Conversation: The State of Hiring in Baltimore, bringing together employers, workforce development leaders, educators, community organizations, economic development partners, job seekers, and residents for an engaging discussion about the future of Baltimore's workforce.
This year's theme, "Keeping Baltimore Talent Home," explores how we can work together to create meaningful career pathways that allow Baltimore residents to build successful futures right here in our city.
During this virtual discussion, we'll explore:
Current hiring and workforce trends across Baltimore
The skills employers are looking for today—and tomorrow
Challenges and opportunities in retaining local talent
Education and training pathways that lead to quality careers
How employers, educators, nonprofits, and community partners can work together to strengthen Baltimore's workforce
Whether you're an employer, educator, workforce professional, student, community leader, or someone who simply cares about Baltimore's future, this conversation is an opportunity to hear from industry leaders, gain valuable insights, and be part of identifying solutions that move our city forward.
Last year's event sparked meaningful conversations, inspired new partnerships, and highlighted innovative approaches to workforce development. We're excited to continue building on that momentum.
