An evening of conversation, connection and celebration for women in midlife.
By the time we reach midlife, we have lived enough to know that life rarely unfolds the way we thought it would.
We’ve made choices and changed our minds. Built things and walked away from things. Loved, lost, succeeded, failed, started again. We know ourselves in ways we couldn’t when we were younger.
And still, there is so much life ahead of us.
LUMINOUS is a celebration of this extraordinary place in a woman’s life.
A place where experience meets possibility. Where we get to bring everything we’ve learned with us while asking bigger questions about what comes next.
On November 6, we’re bringing together a room full of women for an evening of deep conversation, meaningful connection, incredible food, music and dancing.
We’ll explore what experience has taught us. The choices we’re ready to make. The parts of ourselves we want to reclaim, express and expand. And how we want to use our lives, our voices, our wisdom and our power in the years ahead.
The women around us matter. We expand each other’s sense of what’s possible simply by sharing how we’re living, what we’re choosing and what we’re creating. LUMINOUS is a room for that.
There is so much still to experience, create, contribute and enjoy. And we get to decide where we go from here.
And then we’ll raise a glass, turn up the music and celebrate being right here.
This is LUMINOUS.
LUMINOUS CONVERSATIONS | 5–7 PM
We’ll begin the evening with two intimate conversations exploring wisdom, purpose and possibility in midlife.
I’ll open by sharing some of what I’ve learned through my own journey into this stage of life, and through the hundreds of conversations I’ve had with women navigating their own next chapters.
Then I’ll be joined by two remarkable women who have been important expanders in my own life — women who have helped me see more possibility for myself and who embody the spirit of LUMINOUS.
These won't be presentations or polished panels. They’ll be real conversations about what we’ve learned through living, the choices and turning points that have changed us, and what we understand now that we couldn’t have understood earlier in our lives.
We’ll also create space for you to meet and connect with some of the women in the room before we move into the celebration.
AND THEN, WE CELEBRATE | 7 PM ONWARD
At 7 PM, the room shifts.
More women arrive. The food and drinks start flowing, the music comes up, and the evening opens into connection, celebration and dancing.
Expect delicious food throughout the evening from the Annex Food Hall, drinks, a beautiful room filled with fascinating women, music, dancing and a few surprises along the way. (All food + two drink tickets are included as part of your experience)
Because LUMINOUS isn't only about reflecting on our lives.
It's about being fully alive in them.

This year, we're extending LUMINOUS beyond November 6 with two additional opportunities to gather.
A SPECIAL EARLY BIRD EXPERIENCE AT JAYBIRD
A limited number of Early Bird ticket holders will be invited to join us for a complimentary Supernova class at Jaybird's brand-new Midtown Toronto location ahead of LUMINOUS.
We'll gather to move, connect and begin the LUMINOUS experience together before the main event.
Space is limited and available exclusively to eligible Early Bird ticket holders.
LUMINOUS CIRCLE | FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13
One week after LUMINOUS, I’ll host a virtual LUMINOUS Circle and Q&A for our guests.
We'll come back together to talk about what emerged for you, what you're thinking about differently and where you want to go from here.

LUMINOUS is created and hosted by Kena Paranjape, founder of Supernova — a community and growing movement bringing women in midlife together to imagine, create and actively shape what comes next.
Supernova is built on a simple belief: this stage of life holds enormous potential. That the wisdom and experience we’ve earned matter. That our lives can continue to expand in ways we may not yet be able to see. And that being surrounded by other women who are asking bigger questions, making bold choices and creating lives that feel more like their own changes what we believe is possible for ourselves, too.
