The GTransformer AI Buildathon 2026 is a 3-day hybrid buildathon (in person in Milpitas, Bay Area + online) for builders who want to point AI at problems that matter — and leave with a working prototype, not just a pitch deck.

Wellbeing — mental and emotional wellbeing, access to care, early warning
Connection — belonging, community, meaningful human connection
Learning & Opportunity — AI tutors, skills, career pathways, financial literacy
Responsible AI — a requirement across every project: safety, privacy, bias, accessibility, transparency
Schedule (Pacific Time):
Fri, Nov 13, 6–8 PM — Kickoff & team formation (arrive with an idea, or find a team on site)
Sat, Nov 14, 9 AM–5 PM — Build day with mentor office hours
Sun, Nov 15, 9 AM–5 PM — Demos, expert feedback & next steps
Who should join: students, builders, engineers, designers, PMs, researchers, founders and domain experts. No team? No problem — teams form at kickoff.
