CB Studio Ceramics / Kintsugi – Workshop with Karolina Gacke
No experience needed, all welcome. You'll get shards of broken ceramic and simple materials — tape, glue, and (optionally) gold — to piece something new together. Inspired by Yoko Ono's mend-and-transform ethos, the workshop turns repair into a quiet act of care: breakage isn't the end of an object's story, it's a new chapter.
Karolina Gacke is an artist based in Brixen, South Tyrol — though her story starts elsewhere. Polish-born, raised in Nigeria, and now splitting her time with Bangkok, she carries that cross-cultural movement straight into her work. Across painting, drawing, and kintsugi, Gacke explores identity, human connection, and cultural exchange — weaving personal experience into something more universal. She's exhibited internationally, from Bangkok Design Week to the Giardini della Biennale in Venice, and is a member of the Südtiroler Künstlerbund.
