About Jacob Grainger
Jacob joined Pender Ventures in early 2025. Previously, he served as a Senior Ventures Associate at Plug and Play Alberta, where he led a team across four verticals, sourcing and evaluating a wide range of startups. Prior to Plug and Play, Jacob held several operating roles in Alberta based biotechnology companies.
About Cheri Corbett
Cheri joined as a Partner with Pender Ventures in 2025. Cheri began her career in 2006 and brings experience in investment leadership across venture capital, private equity, venture debt, M&A, and valuations, as well as a track record of helping innovative companies grow and thrive.
