GET Exploration Day
is half-day “unconference” for early career tech professionals or tech-seeking students — it's an opportunity that is highly dynamic and interactive, featuring themed discussions, gamification, networking, and connection to a growing and vibrant community of peers, organizations, companies, and supporters.
Chicago-based diverse tech professionals will leave feeling ready to take the next step in their tech careers and to know who to work with to get there.
We are focused on engaging participants that reflect the full diversity of the Chicago tech ecosystem and strongly encourage Black, Latinx, Indigenous, disabled, and LGBTQ+ technologists and/or those who are women, trans, or non-binary people to register to join us for this exciting event!
Breakfast and lunch will be provided
Attending tech professionals are compensated a $25 gift card for participating in this event.

GET Cities exists to shift power to and accelerate the representation and leadership of women, trans and non-binary people in tech with a focus on Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, and other people of color and to ensure that the tech industry is an engine for, not against, equity and economic justice. We achieve this through the development of inclusive tech hubs across the United States including Chicago, D.C. and Miami.
