A note about covid safety: We have 75 tests but are asking that others test before they come as well to alleviate the demand. If you come with a photo or your actual test you will get an exclusive Tigridia button pin! If you mask you can get 2 pins or a pin and a sticker!
Accessibility: There are 2 bathrooms up a flight of about 8 steep stairs. We will be providing KN95 masks and highly encourage people to wear them!
Community agreements:
Our party centers Black and Brown lesbians. We ask that people be mindful of the space they take up. This includes shoving through groups of people, not acknowledging people when you run into them etc. If someone is not acting right, please let us know right then and there so we can politely ask these people to leave.
No anti Blackness, racism, transphobia or whorephobia. We curate our line ups in hopes that it represents the people we center, Black and Brown lesbians.
This space is for lesbians and those who date them. We ask that people do not bring those who do not date them into the space. We will not police people as we recognize that being a lesbian or sapphic does not look a certain way. We simply ask that people use their own discernment before inviting others or attending themselves.
Look out for one another and let us know if someone makes you or someone else uncomfortable. We will do our best to handle the situation with de-escalation as the priority.
Tigridia is a party for Lesbians and those who date them. Our party is QT Black and Chinese lesbian run. We aim to center Black and Brown lesbians in our parties through our line up and the energy of our parties. We pay our talent a liveable wage while also creating financially accessible events for lesbians in the East Bay. This is reflected through our pricing model and venue locations.
