Community Medicine Making: Blooming with Flower Essences w/ Gualikuya Mariposa
In this class we will learn about several flower essences from plants in bloom this Spring. We will talk about how to work with them and co-create a ceremonial flower essence together.
💐 Flower essences are simple yet profound medicines that hold the high vibrational energy of flowers. They are gentle and accessible medicines and hold deep healing potential because they work on the subtle, energetic, heart and spirit level. Flower essences can support the body's natural capacity to bring itself back into balance and when prepared with clear intention and ceremony, can deepen our relationship with the plants and our own intuition.

🤲🏾 About the Space
Freedom Community Clinic's Downtown Community Apothecary & Pharmacy is a donation based resource for for our community to drop in to learn, pick up medicines for themselves or loved ones, make tinctures and tea blends, rest, co-work and more. From seasoned and trained herbalist to those just stepping into their practice, our space welcomes you. We are located near Downtown Oakland.
In all our offerings, we prioritize Black, Brown, Indigenous and Immigrant community members and ask that allies be mindful of the space and resources they take up when visiting and signing up for offerings.
