Global Day of Unplugging
Disconnect to Reconnect
This is an annual event encouraging everyone to unplug for 24 hours, from sundown Friday, March 6 to sundown Saturday, March 7.
So many people say, "that's such a great idea! I should do that!" But do they?
Whether for a few hours or the entire day, let's really prioritize human connection over digital engagement.
You're invited to come together Saturday afternoon to take a break from technology and enjoy some simple activities with like-minded people.
12-1 pm: Arriving Physically (welcome, snack & socialize), phones go to Phone Home
1 pm: Arriving Energetically (ice breaker games, embodiment, playfulness)
2 pm - 4 pm: schedule TBD (games, arts, crafts, discussion)
Give your brain a break.
It'll be good to spend half a day – or maybe a whole day – without all the stimulation and taking in so much information and mental fatigue that comes with screentime!
And meet people who are also serious enough about their wellbeing to intentionally disconnect from tech and reconnect to real life.
See you there!
