TEDxWeekend Amazônia
Join us at the global gathering of the TEDx Community.
You can expect a unique three-day immersion designed to foster meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and reflection in one of the world’s most vibrant ecosystems. The program blends curated conversations, workshops, and shared experiences with explorations of Belém’s cultural landmarks and the surrounding Amazon environment—from museums and historic markets to riverside landscapes and forest excursions.
More than a traditional event, the weekend invites participants to experience the Amazon as a living system of relationships, inspiring dialogue on belonging, leadership, climate action, and regenerative futures.
You are also invited to join the Optional Pre-Event — TEDxAmazônia Salon: A Night at the Museum — an optional gathering designed to offer an inspiring opening moment for the weekend.
A note from the TED team: TEDxWeekend Amazônia is a qualifying event. By attending, you’ll become eligible to apply for a Community Plus license, which allows organizers to host TEDx events with more than 100 attendees. Please note that attending a qualifying event does not automatically grant you a TEDx event license — you must still apply for a license and be approved. A note on age: TEDxWeekend Amazônia is an 18+ event. You must be 18 years or older as of November 12, 2026 to participate. No exceptions will be made.
The event will be conducted entirely in English.
TEDxWeekend Amazônia is exclusively for individuals with prior involvement in TEDx events, such as organizers, co-organizers, and team members.

Museum Emilio Goeldi Tour - Nature and Art (official activity but optional)
Traditional City Market Tour - A gastronomy experience (official activity but optional)
Happy Hour - Theatro da Paz with Amazônia Jazz Band (official activity)
Saturday - 14th November
Regional Workshop - Casa Mia (official activity)
City Tour (official activity)
Amazonian Dinner and Party - Atrium Hotel (official activity)
Sunday - 15th November
Field trip - Combu Island + Farewell Lunch (TBC) (official activity)
TICKETS
The ticket grants access to the event on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The ticket is offered at a unique price of US$105 (Ticket: US$100 + Platform fee: US$5).
Tickets must be purchased one at a time. If you would like to purchase multiple tickets, please complete separate transactions.
Tickets are non-refundable.

Accommodation for the first 70 confirmed participants (Includes nights of the 13th and 14th; if arriving early for the TEDx Amazônia Salon on the 12th, please arrange your own lodging for that night)
Airport transfers to the official meeting point (Atrium Hotel), local transportation from the meeting point to all scheduled activities, and transfers between event locations

A TEDxWeekend is an international gathering of TEDx organizers focused on celebrating our community, and fostering deep connection and collaboration between community members.
The weekend is open to the entire TEDx community, including licensees, co-organizers, and team members.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
TEDxWeekend Amazônia Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend the event, you have the option to transfer your ticket to someone else within 10 days prior to the event date directly through the ticketing platform.
Through the purchase of a ticket you consent to appear in photos and/or video material recorded during the event. These photos and/or videos will then be shared on various on - and offline channels.
By filling out a ticket order, you provide us with data which we will treat confidentially at any given time and will not pass on to third parties outside of TED and TEDxAmazônia.
By submitting your registration form, you consent to receiving event related news and updates from TED and agree to the TED Privacy Policy. You also agree to abide by the code of conduct.
As part of our commitment to responsible event practices, the submission form will include a few questions related to sustainability. The collected information will help us measure and report the environmental and social impact of the event as part of our sustainability report. Responses will be used only for aggregate analysis and to support transparency and continuous improvement in how we design and deliver our events.
