Celebrating the Life of Marjolein van Breemen

​We invite friends, colleagues and collaborators to come together for a joyful celebration of the life of Marjolein van Breemen.

​Marjolein was a rare force: brilliant, playful, deeply human, endlessly curious, and one of the great connectors of people, ideas, culture and nature. Through her leadership at Naturalis Biodiversity Center and NEMO, her work across the international museum and science centre community, and her deep belief in learning, creativity and collaboration, she touched lives all over the world.

​But above all, Marjolein brought energy. She brought warmth. She brought laughter, late-night conversations, dancing, generosity, mischief, and the feeling that community could always be bigger, kinder and more alive.

​This evening is not about mourning what was lost, but celebrating what she gave us: friendship, courage, joy, connection, and a fierce belief in the power of people coming together.
