Your Kaigi: Look Back, Meet Yourself, Make Room
A three-hour live online workshop with Elsie Escobar
You’ve been doing the work. Creating, showing up, tending to the things that need you. But when did you last give yourself time to look at all of it—to remember what you made, what you tried, what changed, and how you’ve changed along with it?
Your Kaigi is a meeting with yourself, through the lens of your work.
Inspired by the journaling community’s practice of techo kaigi—a meeting with your planners—this experience invites you to gather your own proof of life. Your calendar, notebooks, photos, published work, unfinished projects. The things that help you remember what living and creating actually looked like.
Together, we’ll spend three hours looking back and anchoring down, with guided reflection, time to write and explore, and space to notice what you might have missed while you were busy doing.
Look back. Take inventory of what you created, attempted, experienced, and learned. Acknowledge the effort and connections alongside the finished work. Notice where your interest kept returning, what brought you joy, and what those patterns might tell you about your voice and the work you want to keep doing.
Anchor down. Meet yourself where you are now. Look at your commitments, your time, your energy, and the life happening around your work. What needs your attention? What has become too much? What would you like to keep, shift, or let go of?
You’ll also receive a companion workbook with selected exercises from the Your Kaigi digital experience to help you move forward at your own pace. We’ll begin that section together before we close, giving you a starting point to return to.
The intention is to leave with a fuller picture of where you’ve been, a more honest understanding of your current capacity, and a place to begin making decisions about what comes next.
For podcasters, creators, and people whose work lives online, this is time to sit with what you’ve made—and the person making it.
Bring whatever helps you remember. Bring something to write with. Bring yourself as you are.
