The Other Shift ☕️
A coworking experiment by Work Is a Joke 🎤
We believe there's more to life than our jobs, and we're a whole lot more interesting than our titles.
So we're experimenting with a different kind of workday.
A Friday coworking club for the things that matter outside your job description.
Your side hustle. Your creative project. Your new business idea. Or your actual day job, if that's what actually needs your attention that day. Whatever it is, we're making time and space for it.
☕ What to expect
Focused coworking: Plenty of time to put your head down and get things done.
Actual human connection: Brief introductions that go beyond your job title.
A little accountability: Set an intention for the day and make progress on something that actually matters to you.
A little brain trust: Optional facilitated conversations to exchange ideas, tackle challenges, and help each other get unstuck.
BYOL - bring your own lunch (or snacks). Or we can place a group order for lunch together and get it delivered to us.
No forced networking. No productivity Olympics. Just a few hours to work on what matters to you, alongside people who are curious about more than their careers.

🎤 Wait, what's Work Is a Joke?
Work Is a Joke is an interactive comedy and social experience that brings people together to laugh about the absurdities of modern work.
Part workplace comedy, part social experiment, it's our attempt to make meeting new people a whole lot more fun. Think workplace confessions, storytelling, audience participation, and conversations that go beyond "So, what do you do?"
Because your job is something you do. It's not who you are.
