AI companies are training on artists’ copyrighted work, often without permission, against their wishes and without any compensation.
Illustrations, photographs and paintings shared to reach an audience can become training material for someone else’s product. As an artist, you shouldn’t have to stop showing your work to make your refusal clear.
The law gives Artists the rights to say No but not an easy way to exercise it.
At this free workshop at OT301, we’ll help you take a practical step: Record your refusal of AI training on the artwork you share.
Artimis helps you record who made an artwork, set out how it may be used and attach a clear refusal of AI training to the digital file. Each work also gets a public Work Passport, so you have a proof to share when someone needs to check those details.
We’ll show you how it works, then help you do it with your own images. You don’t need to understand the technology to use it.

Who it’s for
Illustrators, photographers, painters, designers and anyone who shares digital images of their own work. If you make physical work, bring photographs or scans of it.
What to bring
A laptop or phone and images of work you own the rights to, saved as JPEG or PNG. A laptop will make it easier to follow along.
About the evening
Sagar Pandey, the founder of Artimis, will give a short introduction and demonstration, followed by time to work on your own images, ask questions and share feedback.
