International Generalists Day, Bengaluru
International Generalist Day 2026
Imagine meeting people who actually get your squiggly career background. Now you can.
Join Yeswanth, Meghna and Syamanthaka in Bengaluru for International Generalist Day, a global celebration happening simultaneously across cities worldwide on September 16, 2026.
A few tables, some chairs and lots of interesting conversations.
We’re bringing together a small group of experts, each at their own table. You’ll spend a little time with each one, ask questions, listen in, or simply soak up the vibe. No pressure to perform, be you an introvert, an extrovert, or somewhere delightfully in between.
And no, you don’t have to be a member to join us. Everyone’s very welcome.
Come meet some interesting minds in the heart of Bengaluru’s startup scene. Pick a table, pull up a chair and see where the conversation takes you. And of course, you can switch tables and hear all of them!
About the hosts
Syamanthaka - She has put her name down on the list for human cloning, so she can spend an equal amount of time on all her alter egos. From being an enterprise architect, to writing fiction, teaching Spanish, and experimenting with all sorts of software and hardware technology, she often finds 24 hours just isn’t enough.
Yeswanth - He runs a developer learning platform and calls himself a jack of all trades, master of a few. His career's taken some wonderfully squiggly turns, from building Android apps to running remote teams across Africa and USA. Outside of tech, he's a travel and history buff, slow travelling through Europe and SE Asia and currently neck deep into WWII, Cold War, and Indian history. He maintains a travel blog to share his travel stories. His life goal? Swimming the English Channel someday. 🏊
Meghna - She is a generalist at heart and has spent her career working across the startup and innovation ecosystem. Trained in science, her own squiggly career path has taken her through a rather interesting mix of experiences, and she’s always curious about where it might lead next. Outside of work, she loves reading books, adores cats, enjoys DIY crafts, and has a habit of going down completely random rabbit holes on the internet. She’s always looking forward to meeting new and interesting people and discovering the unexpected things they might have in common.
Event Location:
