From Israel to Egypt - Lana Shares About Her Recent Trip
Lana recently returned from a trip to the Middle East. What was intended to be a tour of precious places in Israel was disrupted after 48 hours by the start of war.
It was an abrupt change of trip dynamics that involved hunkering down in bomb shelters, evacuation by bus into Egypt, and intersections with groups and peoples across nations and cultures that she didn't expect. She had moments of connection with Sudanese refugees, Israelis, Muslims, Jews, Coptic Christians, missionaries, and many others.
As you can imagine — Lana is carrying some real jewels and gems from this trip
She's going to be sharing about it tomorrow night at Old Town Church in Rock Hill: showing some slides, unpacking details of the trip, and unfolding her heart about the trip and the region.
There's also going to be space for prayer and worship led by Lauren Lienhard.

Lana's Heart for the Evening
This night will focus on my trip and how I experienced God’s love for the people and nations in the Middle East (His heart and desires for the descendants of both Isaac and Ishmael). I will share what He showed me while in many physical places that Jesus treaded, amidst ancestors of my fathers and mothers in the faith. Our prayers will focus on scripture!
This night will not be political or focused on stances on governmental decisions/actions but rather on people in the regions. We prayed mightily for Muslims to experience the love of Jesus on Monday night, we’ve prayed for a swift end to suffering and violence in these regions all week, and this night we will pray for the Jewish people who are longing and waiting for Messiah to see Jesus for who He is!
This will be a night of storytelling, question-answering, prayer, and some worship.
