RailsConf Welcome Walk: From Love Park to the Art Museum
Join fellow RailsConf attendees for a relaxed pre-conference walking tour through the heart of Philly. We’ll meet 5 mins walk from the conference hotel at iconic Love Park at 4:00 PM and stroll up the scenic Ben Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, yes, that museum with the Rocky Steps.
Expect great conversation, city views, and a light, no-pressure way to connect before the busy conference days ahead. Total walk time is ~60 minutes roundtrip. This is a free community event, bring your Rails spirit and comfortable shoes!
Meeting point: Love Park (look for the group near the LOVE sculpture)
Time: Monday July 7, 4:00 PM sharp
Cost: Free
Distance: Walk 1 mile to the Art Museum, take a short break, then walk back together (~2 miles round trip, all flat)
