A mid-week break for people who want more from Wednesday night than going home, zoning out, and calling it rest.
Offline Night is part of OffMode’s event series - slow social gatherings for people who want more from their free time than rushing, scrolling, and saying they’ll make time for their hobbies “soon.”
The first part of the night is yours.
Read, journal, draw, do a crossword, sit with your thoughts, or simply enjoy a beer and let yourself relax. We’ll have creative materials around the room so you can pick up something you’ve been meaning to return to.
Then, the room opens.
Games come out. Tables mix. Conversations start. The night gets louder, warmer, and a little more alive.
How the night unfolds:
5:30pm – 5:45pm | Arrive & get cosy
Lock your phone away, grab a beer, and ease out of the workday.
5:45pm – 6:30pm | Connect with yourself
Read, journal, draw, write, think, relax, or do your own offline thing.
6:30pm–8pm | It’s game time.
This is when the night comes alive, games hit the tables and you can jump into whatever looks fun. Bring a favourite if there’s one you’ve been waiting for an excuse to show off.
8:00pm | Wrap-up
Get your phone back and head into the rest of your week feeling a little more present.
About your phone: We’ll have phone lockers ready so you can switch off properly. Your phone will be safe, looked after, and enjoying a quiet break while you do the same.
