Bay Area Rising - Raising Funds for a Permanent Home
We’re building a permanent home for Bay Area Rising.
After years of producing shows, creating spaces for independent artists, and bringing people together around music, we’re taking our biggest step yet: The Listening Room, a neighborhood café and creative space in San Francisco.
For the past six months, we’ve stepped away from producing shows to put everything into making this space real.
The truth is, our events have never been built for profit. We’ve intentionally kept them intimate, ambitious, and artist-first — often covering the difference ourselves because we believed they were worth creating.
The Listening Room gives us a chance to change that.
Every coffee, every bite, and every visit can help fund the shows, sessions, artist projects, and strange ideas we want to keep bringing to life.
This Kickstarter is about giving that work a sustainable home — and giving us the freedom to dream a lot bigger.
If you’ve ever come to one of our shows, discovered an artist through us, volunteered, performed, or simply believed in what we’re building, we’d love your help.
Pledge if you can. Share it if you can’t. Both mean more than you know.
We’ve spent years seeing what we could create without a home.
Now let’s see what we can build with one.
