On September 15, Generalist World Amsterdam is back for our third International Generalist Day. We will be part of a global celebration bringing generalists together in cities around the world.
Last time, 80 cities around the world and thousands of generalists joined in. And every year every city chooses their own format.

We asked our community one question:
If you could teach people one thing in 10–15 minutes, what would it be?
Nine generalists raised their hands. And what they’re bringing is, appropriately, a wonderfully mixed bag.
Expect a mix of practical, creative, playful, work-related and the unexpected skills that you can have a taste of.
There’s no stage and no long line-up of talks. Instead, our Skill Merchants set up around the space.
The format: Pick a station. Learn something. Hear the bell. Move on and discover something new.
Follow your curiosity, try a few things and meet the people around you. You might leave with something useful for tomorrow, or something completely unnecessary that you’re delighted to know.
International Generalist Day is made by the community, for the community.
